On April 6th, 2009 the Durango Fire Rescue Authority was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 813 Main Avenue. Units arrived to find smoke coming from the historic Newman Building. LPFD Ladder 81 responded to the incident on a mutual aid request. Thanks to John Hughes for the photos from the scene.
