07/03/08 - Photos from a Wildland Fire that occurred in the 9000 Block of County Road 310 on 06/24/08 have been posted in the “PHOTO GALLERY” section.

06/12/08 - On April 12th through the 15th of 2008, the Los Pinos Fire Protection District hosted a Prescribed Burn Workshop to promote interagency cooperation and enhance prescribed fire skills. The photos are posted in the "PHOTO GALLERY" section.

For the second year, the Los Pinos Fire District sponsored Firefighter Charles Talley to travel to Washington State to participate in the Annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb at the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. The event took place on Sunday, March 2, 2008. Click on the "SCOTT STAIR CLIMB" section for more information.

The Los Pinos Fire District is currently accepting applications for Facilities/Maintenance Technician. This civilian position performs general maintenance to Los Pinos Fire Protection District building and grounds. The successful candidate will perform semi-skilled and skilled building and grounds maintenance and repairs such as painting, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, mowing, snow-plowing and landscaping, as well as moving and installing furniture and other equipment as required.

12/10/07 - The "PHOTO GALLERY" section has been updated with fire photos from Williams Ignacio Gas Plant and the fire at Ignacio Movies, 555 Goddard Avenue.
