QUALIFICATIONS FOR FIREFIGHTER/EMT-P

 

All Firefighter/EMT-P candidates must be a minimum of 18-years old and have completed high school or an equivalent standard of education (GED). Firefighter/EMT-P applicants must hold a valid Colorado Drivers License.


 

The Los Pinos Fire Protection District reserves the right to limit applicants with specific qualifications including but not limited to Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.


 

The Fire District prefers that Full-Time Career member candidates have a current Colorado or other International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) accredited Firefighter 1 Certification.


 

All Firefighter/EMT-P candidates must be a Colorado or Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic.
